What to be aware of before searching for files deleted from the recycle bin
The trick to remember when one wishes to recover recycle bin data is that items placed into a recycle bin are actually renamed with a generic hash type number. This means that if one uses a data recovery program to search for deleted files lost by emptying the Windows recycle bin, they will never find those files using the original file names. The key is to find the recovered folder marked recycler and look inside of it. Unfortunately, all of these files will be renamed. However one can narrow the list in searching for a specific file by checking the creation date and the file extension which remain intact.
