Handling a PC logic crash with a data recovery tool
The best data recovery program that I personally ever used was one that allowed me to access files on my computer that was showing a crashed hard drive. I had assumed that my hard drive was physically damaged, that is frozen or fried. In using a special data recovery tool, I was able to determine that the only problem with my computer was what is known as a logic crash. A logic crash simply means that the software files your computer uses to access other files and perform functions had been damaged or corrupted. The solution for this is to reload your operating system. But before doing so you must always use data recovery software such as described above to locate and copy away all of your archived files.
